چکیده
For adhesively bonded joint security and long-term use of the joint, a precise stress analysis must be performed on single-lap joints. A formed by joining two layers at given lap length, is most widely used adhesive type in practice. Nowadays, it stated that mechanical properties strength can increased adding clay graphite to polymeric material joints, trying estimate for various loading conditions. This paper focuses bending moment behavior composed newly designed functionally graded materials (FGPMs). this purpose, geometry subject discussed. However, assumed beams connection are FGPMs. The modeled using new recently developed FGPMs forming glued was obtained PAM 96/98 PV 60/65 powders epoxy resin 3%, 6%, 9% 12% volume ratios. effects ratio maximum displacements were investigated subjected moment. In addition, peeling (σy), Shear (τxy) also von-Mises (σvon) occurring mid-plane layer with powder added determined each presented graphs.

Perforated discs have many applications in different parts of industry. By making such disks of functionally graded materials, more capabilities can be obtained from them. Vibration analysis of these kinds of disks can help us make them more efficient. In this paper, modeling and evaluation of disk vibration of functionally graded materials with regard to thickness were carried out using Abaqus...
متن کاملFunctionally Graded Materials
Thermoelastic simulation of functionally graded materials is practically important for engineers. Here, the extension and assembly of our two previous papers (Computational Mechanics 2006, 38, p51-60; Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements 2008, 32, p704-712) is presented to evaluate the transient temperature and stress distributions in two-dimensional functionally graded solids. In this c...
متن کاملThermal Stability of Thin Rectangular Plates with Variable Thickness Made of Functionally Graded Materials
In this research, thermal buckling of thin rectangular plate made of Functionally Graded Materials (FGMs) with linear varying thickness is considered. Material properties are assumed to be graded in the thickness direction according to a simple power law distribution in terms of the volume fractions of the constituents. The supporting condition of all edges of such a plate is simply supported. ...
متن کاملViscoelastic analysis of stress distribution in balanced and unbalanced adhesively bonded single-lap joints with functionally graded adherends under the Reddy model
In this study, shear and peel stress distributions in the viscoelastic adhesive layer of a single-lap joint (SLJ) with functionally graded (FG) adherends are investigated. The study focuses on the effect of different adherend profiles and material composition on the time-dependent stress concentration/distribution in balanced and unbalanced SLJs. For this purpose, the Reddy model is applied to ...
